AuraBuilt (“the app”) is developed and owned by Tanctics LLC (“we,” “us”). This policy explains how the app handles your information.
In short: Your workouts, body data, and Apple Health data stay on your device — we never receive them. The free version shows ads through Google AdMob, which collects limited device and usage data to serve those ads. The Pro subscription removes ads.
All of your content is stored locally on your iPhone (and Apple Watch): workouts, exercises, logged sets and session history; body measurements and progress photos; your profile details (name, age, height, weight, goals) and headshot; and app preferences. This data remains on your device unless you choose to export it. We operate no accounts and no servers that receive this content.
The free version uses the Google AdMob advertising SDK to display banner and interstitial ads. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect and process limited information, which can include a device advertising identifier (IDFA) and other device identifiers, coarse (approximate) location derived from your IP address, ad-interaction and general app-usage data, and crash/performance/diagnostic data.
This data is collected by Google, not by us, and its use is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy. Your choices: iOS shows an App Tracking Transparency prompt on first launch (declining serves non-personalized ads and stops use of the advertising identifier for tracking); you can also control this in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking; or remove ads entirely by upgrading to AuraBuilt Pro. We do not share your workouts, body measurements, photos, profile, or Apple Health data with Google or any advertiser.
Pro is an auto-renewing subscription sold through Apple’s In-App Purchase. Apple processes the payment and manages the subscription; we do not receive or store your payment details. You can manage or cancel anytime in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
If you grant permission, AuraBuilt can read your latest body weight (only when you tap “import from Apple Health”) and write completed workouts, active energy, and heart-rate samples (only when you finish a workout). Health data is exchanged directly between the app and Apple Health on your device. We never receive this data. HealthKit data is never used for advertising, never shared with Google or any third party, and is never sold. You can revoke access anytime in the iOS Health app or Settings.
The AuraBuilt Watch app communicates with your iPhone over Apple’s on-device connectivity to show your current set and live heart rate/calories. This information stays on your devices. The Watch app does not show ads.
Progress photos you add are copied into the app’s private storage on your device. They are not uploaded anywhere and are never shared with advertisers.
You can export a JSON backup of your data using the share sheet. Once exported, the file is saved wherever you choose and is then governed by that service’s terms, not ours.
With your permission, the app schedules local rest-timer notifications on your device. No notification data leaves your device.
AuraBuilt is a general-audience fitness app and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because ads are served through Google AdMob in the free version, we configure ad content to be age-appropriate; you can remove ads by upgrading to Pro or by contacting us.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “Last updated” date.
